BAWANG TINONDUKAN SUNGAI TAGAL

term definition:
"tagal" or "tinondukan" = prohibited from fishing.


River areas are marked with Red, Yellow and Green Zones.




Fishing is only by Committee permission.

On 16 Jan 2012, at 11am at KKNSB Campsite, A history of Bawang Tiondukan Sungai Tagal was made by officially launching its by ADUN N13 Inanam with presence of Deputy Director of Fishes Department, KAN, Ketua Kampung and Kampung leaders, government officers and kg folks.



It was highlighted that the river is an asset for villagers, some villages do not have river to do program.

With this program, villagers could only fish at scheduled time, conserve nature and continue working together towards sustainable development.





















Bawang Tinondukan Sungai Tagal Committee; in  the midst of discussing serious matters pertaining to achieve objectives of the organization at riverside.




SPECIAL PROGRAM


All campers could still do fishing based on "catch & release program" where one has to register and pay "sogit" and do the fishing as agreed.

MITABANG or COMMUNITY SERVICE

Natives use the concept MITABANG as method to get things done such as building homes, clearing paddy plantation, transferring materials, etc.
This is a practice
 till today!
.....a group of local and overseas students help building home
